Jose "Rene" Sanchez Handrolled Cigars

Rene Sanchez will be back here at Casa Belicoso on Thursday July 16 from 5pm – 9pm rolling cigars just for you. This time, he is bringing a special treat: The Trifecta! The Trifecta is a one of a kind smoking experience. This cigar is a truly unique blend using seven different tobaccos. Starting out with a mild true Connecticut wrapper leaf over a blend of Nicaraguan, Columbian and Dominican tobaccos. The middle becomes medium in body thanks to the Sumatran Sun grown wrapper and a leaf of Ligero added to the filler and then finishing with a full bodied kick from the beautiful Brazilian Maduro wrapper and two leaves of Ligero. This cigar was created for the experienced cigar smoker that wants a truly unique cigar smoking experience.

Rene and I will be hosting the lounge during the event. Everyone who purchases a 5-pak of Just Easy cigars will receive a complimentary pass to the lounge for the evening. We will also hold an hourly raffle so come early and enjoy a great cigar.

Our next tasting is going to be Friday June 26th from 5pm – 9pm. We will be tasting the Gran Habano line of cigars from GR Tabacaleras Unidas. GR Tabacaleras Unidas was founded in 1995, the love child of Guillermo Rico and his son George Rico. As a third generation leaf grower, Guillermo understands tobacco from the seedling state to its full-grown potential. The Gran Habano cigar is made using Habano and Corojo seed tobacco grown on family farms in Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The Nicaraguan farm is the jewel of the family and is the largest in the Jalapa Valley. The cigars are rolled at GR Tabacaleras Unidas boutique factory in Nicaragua and each is finished with a traditional Cuban style triple cap. Guillermo and George insist that nothing leaves the factory without reaching perfection.
